"Memory shards from ancient times"

1/18
Trips are from 2h-6h and can be combined with eating at good restaurant.

Thousands of years old trees and sacred groves have been places of pagan worship all around the world. From the 13th century up until the end of the 19th century these were systematically cut down and replaced with new landmarks such as a church, chapel or cross. Unfortunately none survived in Southern Finland, but several amazing 400+ year old trees remain that can give an idea about how a 1000+ year old might have looked.
